The Problem
Schindler Lifts wanted to launch a new monitoring and comms device that will enhance the safety of lifts after nbn connection.
The Solution
- We identified Schindler’s existing customer base as the first priority, thus needed to persuade people they should upgrade. The database needed a bit of work to extract good data, and given the low involvement nature of lift technology, we decided to target building managers using a physical mailer to attract attention.
- The creative identified the fear of people being trapped in a lift as being the most likely to cut through.
- The mailer drove readers to a microsite that we created, along with a range of downloadable information resources. We also created a follow-up call strategy for Schindler’s sales team.
The Results
The results exceeded target.
Overachieved response rate in excess of 50% forcing the business to add additional resources to keep up with the quote requests.
The bottom line was the campaign far exceeded conversion targets and catapulted Schindler Australia into a global leader position in their new IOT / Communications product.

Permission developed the online and offline campaign materials for an important product launch. This entailed refining a complex product story down to its essence and developing visual around it. I'm happy to say the campaign was very effective, exceeding our sales targets.
