The Problem
This sprawling global engineering leader had an equally sprawling website that had devolved over several years to be almost unusable. The business wasn’t clear about who was using the site and why, or indeed the internal requirements.
Additionally they needed a new, simplified way to present the many business divisions and services across dozens of countries and multiple languages. Finally no suitable brand guidelines existed so the website had to break new design ground.
The Solution
We embarked on a multi-month global research phase to seek input from a wide range of stakeholders. This led to a new strategic approach to the site structure and a lengthy design consultancy and design development phase before we worked with GHD’s own webdev company on the build.
The Results
The site went live in March 2018 and there has been broad acceptance of it amongst global management. Feedback indicates that key user groups are enjoying a vastly improved experience.
